Sachin Deshpande, CTO at Tata Play Broadband is a Telecom Industry veteran and an experienced Professional on Wireline Broadband. He has rich experience at Telecom major, Bharti Airtel Limited, where he was CTO-North for Telemedia Services, CTO-NCR for Mobility & Wireline Networks as well as National CTO for Enterprise Services. He has also served at Siemens Public Communications where he was heading Service Department Verticals for Installation, Commissioning and Infrastructure.

 

Sachin has been instrumental in building from scratch, Tata Play Fiber’s Broadband network, arguably one of the best performing Broadband network in the country and is the biggest end to end MPLS Network. Tata Play Broadband is recognised in the Industry as one of the Best ISP’s for Broadband Customer experience with highest Network Uptime and Service SLA’s.

 

Sachin is credited with multiple “industry firsts” including, first Carrier Ethernet Network, first FTTH GPON Network in India, first IPTV service with airtel and recently first in India to use 400Gig Juniper Transport Platform for Tata Play Fiber as well as ‘first’ to introduce WiFi6 technology for customers in the country.

 

Sachin is passionate Industry figure, participates in multiple Industry forums and thrives on new Technology and Innovation. He is now working on getting AI in action in the Service domain for Tata Play Fiber.
